Charles Neidich introduces Program for 8 October

WA Concert Series with the New York Woodwind Quintet at the Tenri Cultural Center - Senior VIP Charles Neidich, Director

The celebrated New York Woodwind returns to the WA Concert Series, March 8th at 8pm with a fascinating program spanning the centuries.

 

Framed by 3 Fugues from Johann Sebastian Bach's Art of the Fugue and Ludwig van Beethoven's Quintet op. 4, their program will include works of three very important composers from the 12th century to the present day: Hildegard von Bingen, Amy Beach, and Thea Musgrave.

VIP and President and CEO of Buffet-Crampon USA Francois Kloc awarded the “Chevalier dans l’ordre National du Merite” which is the second highest recognition one can receive from the President de la Republique Francaise

                 Congratulations to Mr. François Kloc, who became "Chevalier de l'Ordre National du Mérite" on March 7, 2020. The distinction rewards services provided to the French Republic. His involvement as a Honorary Consul in business, education and culture to promote France in Northeast Florida is honored today.

               A true pillar of the French community, and an accomplished musician, Mr. Kloc is the President CEO of the American subsidiary of Buffet-Crampon group, a company recognized for the quality of its professional musical instruments, and the world's second largest wind instrument manufacturing group.

              He is also a committed citizen: Honorary Consul of France in Jacksonville since 2010, member of the Board of Trustees of the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce and former President of the Alliance Française de Jacksonville from 2008 to 2011, he is fully involved in his duties and always available for our fellow citizens
