ALERT - ACHTUNG for all aspiring students
How US students get a university degree for free in
Germany
An important International
opportunity is available to upcoming college students to pursue study and earn
degrees in many European countries, especially Germany, and be TUITION FREE,
unlike the enormous costs of a US University program. With these costs
over 4 years exceeding a cost of over $50,000 - over $100,000 in future debt,
with compounded interest that can paralyze one's economics for as long as 30
years, this German option is a godsend in the savings and peace of mind without
debt hanging over one's head. Degrees up through the Doctorates are offered for
FREE. It is highly advised that all learn German, but many schools teach
courses in English. For a non Music major where course work is standard in
course classes, all programs are well covered. To learn German, High
School students should take German in school, or purchase a program with CD's
and learn from their tutorial offerings. Check
http://www.fluenz.com/languages/learn-german/
and buy this program. Information about the German programs below:

Miedzynarodowe Master Music Course - VIP
Shirley Brill, Clarinet Faculty
Poland
I International Course of Master Classes is
organized as part of the “Music on the Heights” International Chamber Music
Festival in Zakopane (12-19.09.2015). It is a great opportunity for musically
talented young people from different parts of Poland and abroad to gain some
musical instruction from world-class musicians and experience the alpine
magnificence of the Tatra Mountains, the beauty of the surrounding Podhale
region and its indigenous people which have inspired so many of Poland’s eminent
composers. It is also an opportunity for the local community to present the
achievements of their young and talented musicians to a wider audience.
Course participants will work on their own repertoire in workshops and master
classes under the guidance of prominent chamber musicians such as: Łukasz
Długosz – flute, Shirley Brill – clarinet, Jonathan Aner – chamber piano music,
Krzysztof Chorzelski – string quartet and viola.
During the course a series of small concerts will be organized where
participants will be able to present their achievements and gain familiarity
with performing on stage, as well as sharing music with the residents of
Zakopane and visiting tourists. In addition, those selected by the leaders of
the master classes will perform at a concert as part of the “Music on the
Heights” festival. This provides an excellent opportunity to promote young and
talented musicians. Participants in the string quartet class will also work on a
piece of music chosen by the organizers (a new composition by Maciej Negrey).
The best musicians will be rewarded with the opportunity to perform the première
of this piece at the “Music on the Heights” festival.
The workshops will take the form of four classes led by world-class specialists:
•The FLUTE class will be led by Łukasz DŁUGOSZ, one of Poland’s most talented
musicians, the winner of many prestigious international competitions (including
in Odense, Mannheim, Munich, Paris and Bucharest). He studied at the state high
school for music in Freiburg (Germany) in the class of Mirjam Nastasi, and later
graduated from the high school for music and theatre in Munich with Andras
Adorjan. He also studied at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et
de Danse in Paris under the direction of Pierre-Yves Artaud, and at Yale
University in New Haven (United States) in the class of Ransom Wilson.
•The CLARINET class will be led by
Shirley BRILL, one of the most outstanding clarinetists in the world and a
professor at the “Hans Eisler” Academy of Music in Berlin. During her career she
has won two important music competitions in Markneukirchen (Germany) and in
Geneva (Switzerland). She also won the Special Prize at the ARD International
Competition in Munich. She has played with artists such as Daniel Barenboim,
Sabine Meyer, Emmanuel Pahud, and the Jerusalem Quartet. She has performed at
many prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall in New York, Salle Pleyel in
Paris, the Musikverein in Vienna, La Scala in Milan, the KKL in Lucerne. She
regularly performs with the pianist Jonathan Aner, with whom she has formed the
much praised Brillaner Duo which performs all over the world.

•The CHAMBER MUSIC classes will be guided by Krzysztof CHORZELSKI, a viola
player, professor at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, a member
and co-founder of the Belcea Quartet, which has performed at prestigious venues
such as Carnegie Hall (New York), the Concertgebouw (Amsterdam), Palais des
Beaux-Arts (Brussels). Krzysztof and the quartet attach great importance to
supporting and teaching young string players by organizing intensive courses in
the UK, US, Poland and Israel. The Belcea Quartet have released many recordings
under the EMI Classics label including chamber music ranging from Mozart to Adès.
•PIANO CHAMBER music covers a wide range of musical forms involving a
sophisticated approach to ensemble playing. This class will be lead by Jonathan
ANER, a.professor at the “Hans Eisler” Academy of Music in Berlin who is a very
experienced musician and has received many awards. As a soloist he has performed
with the Israel Philharmonic under Zubin Mehta, as well as with the Berlin
Philharmonic. He has also played with Tabea Zimmermann, the Jerusalem String
Quartet and the Vogler String Quartet. He is part of the Brillaner Duo and the
Oberon Trio, with whom he regularly performs at such venues as the Berliner
Konzerthaus, Carnegie Hall, the Auditorium du Louvre (Paris), the Kennedy Center
(Washington D.C.), Conde Duque (Madrid), House of Music (Moscow), and Tivoli
Hall (Copenhagen).
