Happy Holidays & Happy New Year!
“A word to the wise music lover: Run, don’t walk, to this series”
Frank Daykin from New York Concert Review
Dear Friends, Fans and Patrons of the Arts,
As we embarked on our third WA Concert Series season with a mission to present composers old and new, well known and unknown who must not be forgotten, we have successfully presented three of our seven concert offerings.
After a ravishing opening concert The Enchantment of Folklore - John Harbison & Joan Tower Birthday Celebration we presented Virtuosity & Beyond, an evening that really expanded our notions of what virtuosity means through the music of Krzysztof Penderecki, Shulamit Ran, John Ireland, Larry Alan Smith, Arthur Benjamin and our own Charles Neidich as it prepared us for the final concert of this calendar year Intellect & Excitement, highlighting two of the most important and exciting American Composers of the 20th/21st centuries: Milton Babbitt the father of Maximalism and Charles Wuorinen, a composer of maximum excitement celebrating his 80th birthday this year.
Intellectually charged and challenged from the last concert we could not be more excited to share with you that we have successfully Sold Out all concerts thus far, live-streamed worldwide to more than 250k viewers in over 50 countries, our facebook page has crossed the 10k likes mark, and we have received riveting reviews on nyconcertreview.com
Thanks to your support and generosity we have been able to serve our local community with Great Music and Great Art combined with delicious culinary delicacies prepared by our chef-extraordinaire Ayako Oshima.
As we look forward to the future, we ask for your generous support to continue to make all of this possible.
elling performances which will connect artists and audience in ways which will be enlightening and, hopefully, even life changing.
We wish you and your family a Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year!

I still rely on my Yamaha instruments on a weekly basis with the ISO!"
