Vandoren Interview with Senior VIP Stanley Drucker regarding his career experiences, development, and the Heritage Series recently released

The Heritage Collection encompassing 2 editions Vol 1 - 5 CDs, and 2nd Edition - 2 CDs showcase legendary performances by Legend of the New York Philharmonic Stanley Drucker.  The 2nd Edition contains Hallmark performances of the most important achievements including the Debussy Rhapsody and the Nielsen Clarinet Concerto with Leonard Bernstein, and the Corigliano Clarinet Concerto with Zubin Mehta.  To have these 3 hallmarks plus many other master performances,  should be in every clarinetist's possession, especially teachers and serious students.   I know of no other offering with such power of artistry. All the works recorded here including the Bartok Contrasts, recorded by Bela Bartok's son Peter, the most definative Bartok ever recorded, and the performances of the Spohr 6 German Songs with renowned soprano Judith Blegen is exemplary.   A suggested required collection students should have to open their minds about great playing and a goal setter.
